These Terms of Use govern your use of the Preferans iOS app.

Acceptance

By using Preferans, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

App Purpose

Preferans is a digital card game for entertainment. The app is not a gambling service, does not support real-money betting, and does not award real-money prizes.

Accounts and Online Rooms

Online play may use Sign in with Apple, a display name, or an anonymous room identity. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account or device.

Room codes and invite information are intended only for people you choose to play with. Do not share room codes publicly if you do not want others to join.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for unlawful activity.
  • Harass, abuse, or impersonate other players.
  • Attempt to disrupt multiplayer rooms or Apple services.
  • Reverse engineer, modify, or misuse the app except where allowed by law.
  • Use the app for real-money gambling or wagering.

User Content and Gameplay Data

Display names, room participation, bids, game actions, cards, and scores may be processed to operate the game. You are responsible for display names or other content you choose to use in the app.

Availability

The app may change, stop working, or become unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, Apple service availability, network issues, or other reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted online play.

No Warranty

Preferans is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, gameplay progress, or access arising from use of the app.

Apple

These Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms to the extent required by Apple’s App Store terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the app changes. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
